Commander In Chief

So I'm sitting in the comfort of my house this evening watching the NCAA National Championship. It comes to half-time and they have a long drawn out interview with President Obama. Now, by no means do I disapprove the commander of the free world supporting a national past time and celebrating the achievement of the men from these two teams.

The problem lays in that during the whole interview, all I could think of is all the extra-curricular activities our president partakes in. They talked about how he was helping out with his kids basketball team. Which is good that he is involved with his children I suppose.

But, just a week or two ago he let his oldest daughter go to Mexico with a group of her friends. Oh, yea! and a couple dozen taxpayer secret service agents.

I did some looking and can't find anywhere that mentions how much this detail cost us taxpayers. If you want to figure 1 agent at $40/hr for 40 hours is $1600. Multiply this be 25 = $40K. This is just their wages, not to mention travel, meals and such.Knowing our government, this adds up a lot faster.

I'm tired of paying for this president and his family to vacation like rock-stars and destroying the economy and our constitution in between vacations.

Yes I do know that all presidents in the past have taken vacations, but most of them had the decency of just going to Camp David or back to where they lived previously, and not wasting extra millions of dollars.
